But on Tuesday, the S&P 500’s decline accelerated after the Fed’s Kansas City president said the US economy is on the ‘right path’ and interest rates should not be held too low for too long via the Fed’s bond-buying program. ‘It is time to adjust those purchases,’ said Esther George.
