Along with her former Apprentice partner, Nick Hewer, she takes to BBC One this Thursday in Nick and Margaret: We All Pay Your Benefits. “Benefits is a really hot topic – it’s all over the newspapers,” says Mountford. “If you go by what you read in some of the media, everybody on benefits is a scrounger, living the life of Riley, they choose not to work, they’ve all got six children and live in a mansion. I thought it would be interesting to look at what the reality is.”
