On the wall are a collection of photographs of sleek racing cars, including a shot signed by Ayrton Senna – Sheardown was one of the team who built the racing driver’s first Formula One car. A shelving unit holds two trophies – one won by his car at Silverstone, the other a “Golden Bean” award from the Academy of Chocolate.
